I wish I could wear contacts but my eyes are apparently superdry and the lenses feel like sand all the time (I also feel sleepy, because my eyes feel so heavy). Of course I haven't tried them in a few years, maybe they've made advances by now.

My biggest WHOA moment when I wore contact lenses was like "PERIPHERAL VISION OH MY GOD". Like you don't even notice that you don't have full view when you wear glasses, but you put in contacts and every part of your eyeball sees something! You can side-eye things and actually see to the side while you do it!!!
