Or it could just be mob mentality - when a few people decide a secret is a troll secret, a lot of people jump on the bandwagon, even if they didn't think it was a troll secret before, because they don't want to be the one who didn't get it, the one who took the bait.

Yeaaaa, who knows. f!s can be unpredictable sometimes, but I wouldn't take reactions to secrets too personally. (And I don't think it matters how 'innocent' or unassuming your secret is, it doesn't even need to be anything traditionally wank worthy to rub people the wrong way. If you submit secrets regularly this is pretty much bound to happen at some point, so don't feel too bad OP.)

I've made (and posted of course) two secrets and replies were nice. The secrets were about fandom staff though. Anyway for me this comm is 50/50 nice/ignored.
