Ohh, okay. Dude, that wasn't your fault. It's just that it incorporated sexuality-shaped-by-external-forces and fandom-having-significant-impact-on-real-life, both of which are (wrongly IMO) perceived as weaknesses prone to attack by the more ornery members of this comm.

Well basing your sexuality on fandom is dumb.

Finding your path to discovering your sexuality through such a source, however, is not.

The second is what I did (found out through fandom and had a gut feeling, did the research elsewhere). People interpreted my secret on this as the former and that was the wank.
