Ooh, thanks. I'd put the first book to one side when it got a bit boring, and read something else, but I'll definitely go back if it perks up. I have all the books so that's great to hear that they get better.

I really like the Butler's daughter so far. I'm looking forward to hearing more about her.

Artemis's mother jumped the shark rather early though. Believeable human relationships are not this writer's strong point. Ah well.
