I'm not a fan of fantasy so I'm not speaking as a defensive fan or something but, honestly, your secret doesn't sound like you "outgrew" fantasy so much as your interests changed and you think it's "below" you now, which I think sounds pretty immature. I get it because hard fantasy as I understand it is kind of what kids grow up on and therefore, I get an association with fantasy and children's play but I tend to think it indicates immaturity to dismiss a whole genre as kiddish. This probably comes off as really offensive so I apologize for that, it's just the first thing that comes to mind when I read your secret.
