I don't even type 'feels' often, but I'm pretty sure I've said it in casual conversation at least once. *hangs head*

(I do however like saying 'I have a lot of feelings about ____', but think that sounds a bit better, lol.)

I use it in speech but very seldom in writing. I like it because it has an extra connotation of "feelings which are wrecking my ability to effectively use the English language" that "feelings" doesn't have.

Yea, that is an important distinction! It definitely conveys that sentiment more, so I'm not sure why it hasn't caught on with me. I find it amusing, but don't tend to say it.
