No, seriously, I'm totally sold on the way Allston writes funny dialogue into his books. LotF is a pretty heavy series, so a splash of humor is very. Very appreciated. ♥

I also like Allston's deadpan style when he's writing darker scenes, like Ben in Exile. He's so good at that (though not as good as Stover), and you get all "lskjflsdkjf!!!" and then he hits you with a joke, and it's amazing.

Sweet! I guess multifandoms are good for LotF, since you don't have to assemble a full cast to pick the characters up.

I keep trying to get more people to pick up LotF characters anyway, but no one ever does. We have a very inactive Jacen, and I also play Syal Antilles, and then that's it since Mara was retired. :( (Although we have SW characters from other timelines, and pre-ANH!Han with DN!Ben was the cutest thing ever, zomg.)

It's sooooooooooo hard to get into. People have to be at least a little familiar with the Bantam era, have some knowledge of NJO, know a bit about what happened in DNT... and, if they read YJK, take the big plunge from cuddly!Jacen to dun-dun-dun!Caedus. (Now I'm jealooooooous.)

Oh, I lied -- we also have a Myri. But yeah. Pilot-era is much more popular in our game, and that's fun too (I play Wes), but I wish people gave a crap about anything after that. D: Although apparentlyyy tenel_ka is going to try and start a new crack game, WHICH SHOULD BE FUN. (omg and get_wessed, which we should start updating soon, HAHA I AM SPAMMING YOU NOW.)
