Everyone was too depressed it wasn't Soul Eater: Brotherhood.

And that they replaced Dead Eyes Maka with some kind of saucer eyed monstrosity.

Can't say I blame them. Soul Eater Not is fucking terrible.

That, and it's more like Soul Eater Moe...

What. Last I knew the manga ended last year?

It's a new anime based on the Soul Eater Not! spin-off manga.

The manga's been going for a while, so it's not like this is a new thing even if it's only finally gotten anime :/ I enjoyed the first handful of chapters but got bored after that and stopped reading, so I have no idea if it ever got better.

The manga ended last year. Soul and Maka don't ever get together, Kid takes over for his father, Krona is never really saved. The end.

Not quite sure how I feel about this. I should probably finish the manga to see if it got better after that awful arc with Kidd.
