Why does everyone hate Gwen? She seems to have her own little hate cult following and I don't get it.

I think it's mostly her attitude. She's rich and extremely privileged, but doesn't seem to see it or realize that most of the world doesn't have her money or background.

From what I've gathered, it's mainly that she's very rich and very pretentious and completely oblivious to the fact.

As an example, she wrote a cookbook for "everday women", and the recipes in it were incredibly pricey.

She's infuriating. I didn't hate her until I read that and then, thinking about all the hard work my sister (a single mother) does, I basically wanted to break her attractive but obfuckingnoxious face.

I find her extremely boring. Not even in the way that Jennifer Aniston is boring, Gwen is just seriously flavourless. Even the sound of her voice has nothing to it - and people consider her a singer!

I seriously yawned when that picture popped up as I was scrolling down. How is someone like this so successful in the entertainment industry? lol

Like most Hollywood A-Listers, she is very rich. Unlike most of them, she doesn't exactly realize this. She doesn't realize just how many or what kind of privileges her wealth gives her, tends to see lower class people as 'lazy' if they can't set aside time to do things like work-out or have spa treatments, and basically acts as if expensive things are cheap/affordable because they are to her, and doesn't realize they are still expensive to everyone else.

In other words, that stereotypical "let them eat cake" brat? The all-grown-up version is Paltrow.
