Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis. It's an obscure (at least in my social circles) years-old PS2 JRPG which I found through TV Tropes, that eternal fount of knowledge about obscure Japanese media. I've never actually played it, just found a Let's Play (which appears to cover the entire game, fortunately) and gone through everything I could find on AO3/FFN/Tumblr. If I can figure out where the PS2 ended up and scrape together the cash to buy an Amazon copy, I might do that, though.

I have that game! The company behind it also makes an ongoing series of similar games called Atelier - I think the latest was Atelier Ayesha. They're really cute.
