Luckily I can separate an actor's work from whoever they are as a person. I think she kicks ass as Pepper.

Though it would make me extremely sad if I couldn't. I don't hear that much about Paltrow outside movies, and frankly Idc, but imo her Pepper is a thing of beauty and I wouldn't want anyone else to play the role. She's a great, likable character and one of the best things about the Iron Man films.

I can for some and not for others. There are some issues I can't get past. But she's one that I can love in roles. And she totally kicks ass as Pepper.

IM3, where she was all awesome at the end, totally sold me on her, and I started liking her in the first two more.

Same here. I think it's because her poor behavior seems to stem from ignorance (even if it seems to be spectacularly willful at times) rather than hate. I can ignore the former, particularly in someone who isn't being paid to have any real influence on public policy. The latter is just gross in anyone, regardless of their career or influence. *cough* melgibson */cough*

This. Some actors, i can't (I'll never watch Charlie Sheen in anything again), but her? Hell yes. I adore Pepper.
