and are exactly as you were at that age except fluent in Japanese.

How bullied are you?

Welp, I was a tomboy, and my understanding is that that's really not cool in Japan, so...I'd probably be bullied quite a bit.

ugh...I forgot about that part. I've heard that Japan is kinda opposite the US in that a boy being girly is actually kind of acceptable but a girl being manly is Not Okay. It's crazy and I would have found it very, very confining :/

Probably not bullied? Just... ignored? Like, I'm pretty boring and apparently can be very intimidating when I get angry. *shrug*

I've got the height and reach advantages and high school me was pretty hair trigger, so I'd beat the shit out of a few kids and probably be fucked in several other aspects of life instead.

Six-foot-plus white guy? Probably bullied a bit until I beat up a couple kids, then just conveniently ostracized. So... about like high school actually was.

Red hair, big boobs and an Italian nose. Yep, pretty badly I should imagine.

I was two meters by that point.

So psychologically and emotionally I suppose.

Chubby mousey looking brown haired white girl. Yep, most likely, though I was never bullied even when in high school. I just ignored everything but my friends, so it probably wouldn't even bother me. *shrug*

Oh, and I'd probably be labeled an otaku, though I was nowhere near the stereotype that's prevalent in Japan. I just liked reading manga, not the creepiness that comes with it over there.

A lot I would imagine. But I also reacted to bullying with biting so... that would probably peter out to ostracization.

...not bullied at all, probably. I'd be considered 'American/nisei' but fall pretty well within the bounds of conventional for that particular group (which is not the same bounds as typical Japanese but still 'tolerable,' all things considered).

I do not know nearly enough about Japanese culture to say for sure (I'm gonna guess anime high schools aren't a perfect representation).

As long as there's a band, though, I'd probably be ok, since that was my niche throughout high school.

The opposite of bullied. I get good grades so I am revered.

I got the top grades in my high school, but I was also boyish and unfashionable (and very athletic and with a history of causing physical violence).

So I would get into the occasional scuffle with boys, girls would avoid me but talk shit behind my back, and I would not care because in a couple of years I would be gone on scholarship and never have to talk to any of them again. I would have few friends but the teachers would love me. I would never get a date.

...So, just like high school back home.

Well, considering that I look German, have a Canadian accent, like to wear tight clothes and act like a guy... I would probably be considered a social pariah.

that's how I survived middle school anyway
