Threesomes in fic
(Anonymous) 2014-04-09 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)But I'm a little worried it's offensive in that "bi people can't be monogamous" kind of way. On the other hand, the emotional arc of the story would be the late-blooming guy getting over the last of his gay-sex hangups and being in an even better relationship with his partner, which...might make it better...or might just make it more offensive?
SO CONFUSED.

It doesn't come across as offensive as you describe it. Unless your fic implies these characters aren't acting as individuals, but as some kind of cliche for all bisexuals.

(Anonymous) 2014-04-10 06:46 am (UTC)(link)do you need the Official Stamp of Bi Approval? here it is *stamps both your hands and your forehead*
seriously, the only issue of bi representation in fiction I'm interested in is "acknowledgement that bi people exist once in a while." It sounds like this is a story you've thought through, and nothing about it says "pile of stereotypes" to me. Take those freshly stamped hands and go wild, ok?
