Okay first thing. Guys, okay, so where I work there's this dude and he looks and sounds exactly like Kaidan Alenko and it's the weirdest fucking thing. I showed a friend who knows my coworker but doesn't play video games Kaidan to prove to myself I wasn't crazy and she agreed. Then we laughed for about ten minutes. It was great. It's still kinda weird though because I wanna laugh awkwardly every time I see or talk to the guy.

Second thing! This made me think I wanna play Mass Effect 2 again. However, I'm frustrated as fuck because I've been told you can get a Friend!Kelly to feed your fish but so far I haven't been able to make her do it. Is the only way to get her to do feed you fish by flirting with her outrageously?

she'll only feed your fish if you've gone to dinner with her but you can still successfully romance other squadmates without them flipping out. iirc kelly's relationship with you doesn't "lock in" like most of them do but you definitely have to flirt with her to get her to feed your fish.

Hey, that is actually a cute story.

Also about the fish thing. Yeah, you have to go for a relationship with Kelly to make her feed your fish. Fortunately you can romance her beside any other love interest as she doesn't count (even if you are being chaste for Kaidan/Ashley).
Also, if you romance her, you can meet her again in Mass Effect 3, rescue her and I think you can keep her as a war asset or something. You don't need to continue the relationship for this.

& if she fed your fish in me2 she'll give them back in me3 if you talk to her.

That's actually why I want her to feed my fish.

yeah don't blame you there, with how pricey fish are it seems worth the trouble.

Yea, I did think of the romance too. It would be awkward if his first exposure to the game was one of Kaidan's sex scenes, lmao. If he had already played I don't think it would be so odd (since, you know, you don't have to romance him), but I can see how that might go wrong...

The ME fandom is surprisingly intelligent and creative! ...Some of it anyway, but hey, that's every fandom. I love the fanvids, songs and remixes. (<3 Saren! Well, kind of, haha. I really liked his last scene if you're playing paragon. This is a neat video!) This will always be my favorite; it's so catchy!

Oh my gosh that song! It is catchy. I remember he made another song for the release of ME3 but I don't remember the name. Speaking of, this is my favorite video in the fandom. (I know you've seen it but it never gets old.)

I have a friend irl whose name is only a couple letters off from "Garrus" and I have called him Garrus on more than one occasion. whooops (he's never played ME but he thinks it's funny)

I...didn't even know there was a way to get someone to feed your fish haha. I definitely didn't go for her romance, I thought she was kinda boring (and her replacement in 3 as well)
