What do you find particularly annoying in fandom that's honestly pretty minor, it just bugs you?

The super-patronising Tumblr putdowns I keep seeing around.

'Oh you're so cute' and similar. It makes me LIVID with rage, and automatically align myself with whoever's on the receiving end.

The whole fedora, atheist, brony thing that seems to be super wide spread as a joke thing.

Like I don't really care about any of those things, but the jokes are super overused and just plain unfunny.

How every little in-joke gets run into the ground. I can forgive a lot, but that's the one I always hate. So many little memes that were funny until every. goddamn. post involves Clint/Coulson or Jam-Watson. Throw over-quoting the show in there, too. If I never read "high-functioning sociopath", Budapest or quim, "It's not lupus", or anything like that again, it'll be too soon.

Background pony fanon characterizations. Every single one of them just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I can deal with bad characterization in a general sense, but when terrible characterization becomes popular fanon "acceptable" characterization and people start to take it seriously/as good characterization... -_-
