I just checked, and all the secrets today have an imgur account. Does Case upload them to his own account then, or something else? I genuinely have no idea how this works, and I'd definitely like to keep some form of anonymity, so if anyone could tell me how to submit secrets without an account, I'd be really grateful.

No, they don't. I know for a fact because I've got a secret posted today and I don't have an imgur account. You don't need one to upload/host pictures, just go to their homepage, on the right is a big "Upload Images" button with a choice of computer or web. When the uploading is finished, right click and choose the "copy URL" option and cut and paste it into the submissions.

No idea how or why some images eventually expire, but it's nothing to do with logging in or not.

Ah, I see! Thanks so much! I'll try that next time, and if it gets deleted, maybe I'll use an account just in case.
