My Dad pays more attention to what I post on Facebook than I thought. When I found out Madoka Magica is now on Netflix, I was excited and posted about it. Mostly because now at least for a time I can watch it on my TV without having to buy the ridiculously expensive DVDs. Mom wasn't feeling well, and I have a Rash of Unknown Origins covering my face so I went over(Very easy to do since they live right next door.) so we could whine at each other in person for a while before she fell asleep. After that I was talking to Dad, and he was checking TV channels to see what he had to watch tonight, and I said "I'm sure if there's anything on I'm going to want to watch. But if not there's always Netflix." and he said "Are going to watch your *String of gibberish, but he did remember it started with an m* show tonight?" I was surprised, and kind of impressed he even vaguely remembered something like that.

I am really glad he didn't ask me what it was about though. I suck at explaining things verbally at the best of times. I have no clue how I would have explained PMMM to him.

Aw, that's sweet. It's nice when parents remember stuff like that, imo. :3

similar story: my roommate, who I dislike and I thought disliked me, texted me a pic from an event she was at where someone brought in some snakes to show people. she somehow knew, even though I don't remember ever talking to her about it before, that I loved snakes and texted me to tell me about the cool one she saw.

then I felt bad for disliking her. :/ It's the second time she's done something thoughtful for me, and I felt bad the first time too. she's just so annoying. but I am trying to like her and be kind and thoughtful.
