Honestly, I thought Those Two Guys were a helluva lot more interesting than the leads. TTG had flaws and wants and dreams and one was a hardcore warrior who never smiled, and the other was an economically disadvantaged teenager who kills someone. Pocahontas and John Smith spent the whole movie communing with nature and singing about their love for one another.

They haven't made it into the fic yet, since right now I'm just playing with world building. Buuuuut they'll be there soon. Since I never miss a chance to pimp my own fic: http://archiveofourown.org/works/1359043/chapters/2838085
