I need more movie or video game OSTs. Some favs of mine: Everything by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard. Prometheus and MCU movie OSTs. Some video game ones I like: World of Warcraft and Bastion OST.

I need new music to listen to at work. :(

Oh yes, another fan of OSTs! Both that you listed are great.

I'd also recommend James Horner, Steve Jablonsky, and depending on the series Takeo Watanabe or Shigeaki Saegusa.

If you don't mind creepy sounding music, you should check out Akira Yamaoka. He's the king of creepy video game OSTs. :3

I had a whole playlist of Akira Yamaoka's Silent Hill albums and then they took them off spotify. ;_;

I know that itunes has them in bulk for pretty cheap. The main OSTs anyway. If anything else, you could have them permanently on your computer! Or even burn them onto a CD for other uses. Such as driving. It's always so fun to listen to Silent Hill music while doing a road trip at night.

I like the music for the Civilization games, although 'Baba Yetu' is my favorite song.

Okay... don't dismiss this before you give it a listen, it is seriously one of the best videogame OSTs of the last ten years:

It is Hans Zimmer, btw.

No dismissing here. I will listen to anything by Hans Zimmer.

Not a move soundtrack persay, but I really love Murray Gold's music, especially his scores on Doctor Who (even if you don't watch the show, a lot of the music is great).

Though they're not quite in the classical/symphonic WoW OST, my two favorite OST are Susumu Hirasawa's soundtrack for the first Berserk OVA, and Kasamatsu Kouji's OST for Gankutsuou.

Also check out https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/trailerhead-saga/id860365314 --- the track "Lacrimose Dominae" was the Spiderman trailer music. It can be heard in Muqq's Fury of the Sunwell raid video starting at 2:30 or so. (Actually, you might want to check out that entire set of vids, as Muqq used a lot of OST music along with trance tracks. Imo those are some of the best raid vids I've ever come across.)
