Oh man, Miyavi. I'm so torn about him - I don't really like his voice that much, but then it does suit his songs, and he's ridiculously musically talented... I can never decide if I like him or not! (Mostly I do =D)

Also quite like TOKIO, but I've never heard of the others, so I'll be checking them out as soon as I get back from uni today. Thanks for the recs!

Don't suppose you have any suggestions for girl bands? Or at least bands fronted by a woman, even if it's not an all-woman lineup?

Haha! I understand about Meevs. I go back and forth with some artists, for sure.

As for ladies, AAA is half females, I believe, and Superfly is a female singer with a male guitarist (and she has an amazing voice IMO). I don't personally care for babymetal, but you might like them too!

I love Norazo, they're pretty much...I don't even know how to describe it. Comedy rock? But its mad fun, and Lee Hyuk is to my mind one of the best vocalists in Korea. Give "Sales King" and "Wild Horse" a listen!
