I'd argue anyone who writes fanfic at all, any amount of it at all, is obsessed to some degree. Fanfic writers don't get paid.

If you're so upset with this suggestion you might want to examine your own attitudes to fanfic and why you're doing it.

I didn't say being obsessed was necessarily bad. In fact, I implied otherwise.

Saying that a certain behavior suggests a disconnect with reality isn't...exactly good, no matter how you try to spin it.

Now I'm actually concerned for you, since you apparently don't think that disconnecting from reality is bad.
