They can be very different because I edit while typing. There's a Tiger and Bunny fic I ended up dictating because of hand problems and I think it could have been funnier and more polished if I had worked out a real second draft.

And, thank you! It's more like scratching at a brick wall with dessert fork than punching through, but I feel cautiously optimistic.
