Re: THE ARGENTS COULD HAVE MOVED

Why would Mr. Argent move? He's a hunter. Beacon Hill is literally a beacon for the things he hunts. That would be like a lobster fisherman moving to Kansas. It would make absolutely no sense for him to leave. Even with his wife dead. (She would have been SO, SO, SOOOO pissed with him if he had up and left after she died. That's not what hunters do.)

Because backstory? They are already established as a family that moves a lot, hence Allison being held back a year. Also, Chris would be a pretty awful hunter if he just waited for all the supernatural things to show up in his home town, even in the context of the show (considering Kate moved around and hunted, and Gerard moved around and hunted, and etcetera.) It would be more like a lobster fisherman moving to a different part of the ocean if anything.

But Argent was told that more and more supernatural beings would be coming to Beacon Hill due to what Stiles, Allison and Scott did. He has seen it with his own eyes. Why would he go now that it is just beginning? And, yes, the family did move around alot in search for monsters. But they have hit the Sunnyday hellmouth jackpot with Beacon Hill.

They only hit the jackpot location-wise because of bad writing in season 3. I would be all in favor of preventing further bad writing by finding a way to get the Argents out of Beacon Hills rather than just offing another character.

Man you are really defensive about a show with more holes than swiss cheese.

The writers could have easily come up with a better way to get rid of Allison and they didn't. Just accept it.

Sure, I'll admit that. (The writing has been going down hill fast since season two.) But admit that sending the Argents packing isn't one of them.

Except it is? It has way more basis than sending Jackson packing, which they already did.
