If it were JUST Steve/Bucky, I might agree with you. But the thing is, it's part of a bigger pattern in the MCU fandom (and most fandoms out there really) where the slightest note of connection between two white guys will overshadow any other relationship, USUALLY the relationship with someone who isn't white.

Clint/Coulson, Tony/Steve... compare those numbers to say... Coulson/Fury, Tony/Rhodey and now Steve/Sam vs. Steve/Bucky. There's a very very very clear pattern here that should be addressed.

Yeah you don't even have to bring other live action fandoms into it. There are three prominent black males in MCU, and none of them get much fandom love.
