I'm so sorry, because I hate that pronucation too, but it's a legitimate one.

dictionary.reference.com says this somewhat controversial pronunciation has come to public attention in recent years, but I have a Webster's Dictionary from 1991 that lists it too with the note: Though disapproved of by many, pronunciations ending in /-kyǝ-lǝr/ have been found in widespread use among educated speakers including scientists, lawyers, professors, congressmen, U.S. cabinet members and at least one U.S. president and one vice president.

I still think it sounds stupid, though.
