This all happened because she and Sharman were together, then they broke up, and then they couldn't deal with working with each other (their characters were a thing). So she asked to leave permanently.

This is also why her death scene didn't involve Sharman. She even mentioned in an interview that she wasn't supposed to tell Posey's character that she loved him, and some crew member had to remind her that Allison was in love with Isaac.

Sharman has also asked to leave, but maybe now that Reed is gone, he might stay.

It's not the "official" reason, of course. But anyone with two brain cells can infer it from all the drama that happened.

I'm (not) surprised that all these fighters for "oppression" can't respect a woman's decision.

Ah, thank you for the clarification. I wasn't aware that the discomfort between the two of them was so serious. And really, she and Isaac were supposed to be "in love"? Based on what? How bizarre. But yeah, that explains a lot.

Easy. Yes, they broke up, and sure, to continue working together may have been stressful. But is it the reason for either of them wanting to leave? That's mere speculation.

However, I do have the weird feeling--more like some stupid headcanon, really--that Jeff decided to write the Allison/Isaac romance (that served little to no purpose) when both of them asked to leave the show after their break-up. Just, you know, because it pissed him off to lose two fan favorites, and he wanted to piss them off in return. That's just the way my imagination works *shrugs*
