I've seen some of the Moffat haters say full stop that they don't care that there's a new Doctor: They are not watching until Moffat either steps down or BBC fires him. I think they're hoping BBC fires him. So they attack anybody who displays even the slightest amount of glee for Capaldi.

I don't care for Moffat as a myself and his handling of the show can be hit or miss, but I don't think it's the misognystic, homophobic, racist mess the SJWs claim it is either.

Maybe OP doesn't want to be harassed by people asking if the hair clippings are for sale. I noticed they mentioned not keeping them. Maybe they don't want to deal with the "you're a fucking dumbass for not keeping those clippings!" comments from overly obsessed fans.

Awww, OP, this is super adorable. Capaldi is my headcanon Dr. Joseph Bell, so I'm kind of fond of him.

It's especially awesome considering the fact that JB's hair was of a pretty unusual silvery colour (it'd gone grey at the age of 37 when he lost his wife Edith), and one of his grandnieces (I think) once asked him if she could touch it because she was wondering if it were soft or wiry. He laughed and bent down for her to reach his head. She ruffled it and said it was soft :D

I've been a DW fan for almost 30 years. I've loved every Doctor and I am so bloody excited for Capaldi. I think he's gonna be awesome. I haven't been this excited since it came back with 9!
