I think of grey-ace as someone who may not particularly enjoy sex, but isn't sex-repulsed and will have sex for a variety of reasons.

And why would such a person not fall into the "normal" sexual spectrum? Furthermore, this makes the previously given definition of "greyromantic" completely meaningless.

DA

I think the "normal" sexual spectrum is expected to enjoy sex.

Then they are just asexual. If you don't like sex, you are asexual. That's it.

Yes, but if you are an asexual who does have sex, but doesn't enjoy it many people won't allow you to call yourself an asexual. Sexual people often can't wrap their heads around the idea. That's why grey a came around. They are asexual, but they are willing to have sex with you for children or the relationship or whatever. And there are a lot of asexuals that are not comfortable with this...it is another term that has been made for dating purposes. It's just so that right away you know whether you are wasting your time or not.

That's a narrow view. Degrees of enjoyment vary widely so if you're going with "does not particularly enjoy sex but isn't repulsed by it and is willing to have it", that can easily apply to a swathe of people who wouldn't identify as asexual.

Unless you're a teenage girl.

Too ~boring~ and not nearly *~unique~* enough.
