Wren/Triss from the Scions of Shannara tetraology. Not usually one to ship non-canonical pairings, but the stuff they've been through, and certain lines, make me really think that there has to be more than him being her (chief)bodyguard. For me it was particularly cemented when, after being going off alone with someone and being betrayed, being freed by another hero, and killing her traitor, that he tells her that she isn't to go anywhere without him ever again.
