7/10, pretty good subtle troll.

I'm not saying it is a bad thing, just I want to know which it is.

(Anonymous) 2014-04-14 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"trap"
"it"
haa yea there's no way you aren't trolling lmao

I guess I'm kinda being nitpicky, but the grammatical context in which they used "it" doesn't necessarily imply that they're using it in lieu of a pronoun. It's just lacking a specific reference to the subject, i.e. it could be "which woman it is" or "which character it is."

(Anonymous) 2014-04-15 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
yeah but in combination with everything else...

(Anonymous) 2014-04-15 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
nah i know that, but like the other anon said in combo with their original comment "it" is a real iffy way to phrase things

(Anonymous) 2014-04-15 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
You are both really reaching here. "it" was the only right word to use, no one uses "she" in a construction like that, because the "it" doesn't refer to the individual, but to what they are.
"I thought one of those women was a Scorpio, I wonder which one it is."
The it = Scorpio, not woman.
