It looks anime as hell? Is it any good, because old school Red vs Blue was great but this looks self indulgent.

RWBY? It is super old. Some people like it, some people hate it. I don't think there is any middle ground.

RWBY's been out for well over a year, and announced since season...10? of RvB finished.

I find it pretty good, and even people who don't like the show tend to like the soundtrack.
