5. What exactly are you talking about? I'm really curious. Do you mean at b'way secrets, how people get into stupid secrets/arguments over who might've slept with who and who's gay or straight? Or what?

24. I didn't HATE it, but I don't see what the big deal is with it and how people say "ZOMG, NBC IS SO AWSUM FTW!!!" It's not that great.

Word to that. I mean, they are cute and bouncey, and that's part of the love. I mean, bless, when's the last time you watched a show, a proper, grown-up show, where a close up on a hand-hold could say as much as it takes the average show a long, passionate snog to get across.

But subtext, d'you mean all that "dancing" stuff, or the rather darker sort of subtext?

I mean, obviously, there's problems-- 900-year-old alien with a survivor's guilt complex like nobody's business plus chavvy* little blonde, not yet out of her teens, with no A-levels. Arguements and temper flares and petty flashes of jealousy and (somewhat adorable) possessiveness. But it worked. Ah, man, did it work.

*Okay, not really a chav. White trash-ish, then? But then, the point was that being with the Doctor made Rose (and eventually Mickey) strive to be a better person, to break out of the plain routine she expected to live in and have an extraordinary life.

No, I mean I like a couple of musicals and everyone seems to think that means I care about Broadway in general, and the current careers of people who played minor parts and whom I never saw, and new musicals that are nothing like the ones I write fic for.
