Absolutely! Definitely my favorite series so far this season. I love Moyashimon, too, but Ghost Hound really gets my "creepy and psychological" vibe going.

Moyashimon is A++. Definitely my other favorite this season (as is Gundam 00 but that's a guilty pleasure, we won't talk about that). Ghost Hound has great mindfuck though. But I haven't quite gotten over the kewpie doll spirit manifestations. (Speaking of which, I still need to upload that episode, whoops.)

Yes, Moyashimon is excellent! It's so hilarious and adorable. ♥ Not to mention its brilliantly original premise!

Yes, I certainly am! ♥ I knew I recognized your username, too. The weird spirit manifestations were, indeed, quite strange. Not quite sure how I felt about them yet. But I'm curious as to where the series is going--it's definitely my type of show.

I'VE ONLY SEEN EIGHT EPISODES BUT I LOVE IT TO BITS. I've got the whole series downloaded! I just haven't gotten around to watching the rest. I've got Mushishi and Mononoke and Bokura no to watch too, sob.

What makes me laugh about the spirit manifestations is that their ears and butts are randomly colored in. Ears, okay, but WHY THEIR BOTTOMS? IT JUST LOOKS RIDICULOUS. THEY'RE LIKE LITTLE MONKEYS OR SOMETHING.

WAIT TIL YOU GET FARTHER. IT GETS SO, SO, SO, SO GOOD I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE IT IN WORDS. It got so good that after a while I stopped posting about each new episode because I couldn't do it without going in all caps in a huge font and lots of keyboard smash.

Ah! Mushishi is amazing. You'll love it! Just don't try to marathon it--I promise you'll fall asleep if you do. I haven't watched Mononoke yet, but I've heard wonderful things about it and plan on starting it once NaNoWriMo is over, along with several other series (including Gurren Lagann--I feel so left out!). Bokurano, sadly, didn't end up being as good as I was hoping it would. But it's still worth watching.

I agree! I noticed that about their butts and was rather confused. WTF? Why?

I'M EXCITED!

I've heard, but unfortunately all the files I have are .mkv so I can't play them on my computer :[ I'll have to wait until I have enough time to transport them to the good computer one by one via my flash drive. Mononoke's first because it's twelve episodes and I've got the .avis now. But oh God, Gurren Lagann--so silly, so over-the-top, and yet sooooo good. I highly recommend it. It's just FUN. As for Bokura no, I've heard the manga's better than the anime--which is why I'd rather watch the anime first, so I'm unbiased. Also idk whether I can even FIND the manga, oh well.

Let me know what you think of the later series! It gets dark and creepy and AMAZING, IMO. Dennou Coil has actually somehow made it into my top five series, I think--it's that amazing. It's just a beautifully done series.

I'm looking forward to Gurren Lagann. I've heard so much about it, and I'm already gearing myself up to (hopefully) love it--complete with saving fanart and getting myself acquainted with all the characters and such. It'll be the first thing I start in December, probably, though Mononoke tempts me, too, with its gorgeous art. ♥

I've been meaning to find the Bokurano manga, too! I'll let you know if I find it. :)
