ive been spending sexual time w a bloke friend of mine lately & every now and then he can go twice, one right after the other, but its p rare cuz his refractory period usually kicks in

maybe your guy just doesnt have much of one, or maybe youre doin something right for him. i know lots of dudes who can blow multiple loads in a short period of time under the right circumstances

Okay, thanks. This is the first guy I've seen this with. But it's quite common?

I've heard of refactory periods, and thought they were supposed to increase with age. So far not.

I was just was a little surprised. I had to reassure him last night I didn't think it was weird. As if. If anything, I should take it as a compliment.

It's odd we don't hear much about male multiple orgasm, isn't it? I actually thought he was almost unique.

No, we'll do thumbs up next time we're in bed. Gotta save something to look forward to, you know?

Sorry, sorry.

But thanks for the useful information. It seems there's more guys than I thought who can do this.

It's quite uncommon, more's the pity.

Actually it's not very common for men to be able to have multiple orgasms. There's a ...somewhat weird online subculture devoted to it, which I've seen a bit of, that tries to compile tricks and techniques to orgasm without ejaculation. Your partner isn't really having a true multiple orgasm by that definition.

Anecdotally, I once had a friend in high school who claimed he could orgasm multiple times without losing his erection or ejaculating, but he would be the only irl example of someone I know who could do this.

Though I haven't ever read any single scientific paper that touched on the topic, there is plenty of evidence that the refractory period is highly tied to heart and vascular health in mean. It may be that this dude happens to have a very good circulatory system, but you should also keep in mind that refractory periods are variable and it is considered normal for it to take anywhere from 1-20 minutes depending on age.
