Tony/Pepper. I LOVE them together, but I pretty much got everything I wanted out of them in movie canon and have no interest in fic about them.

Though when I read a fic of them in other pairings the other one has to be treated well by the author or I won't read it. Tony is kind of a jerk to everyone, but he wouldn't be a cruel, abusive jerk to Pepper ever, and Pepper is a talented, capable woman who can handle herself, a major company and Tony, she's not a shrew.

Of course, this is how I feel about all the MCU canon pairings, whatever they may be. They're handled well enough that I find fic for them unnecessary.

I feel the same. I shy away from Tony with anyone else because I'm afraid of how Pepper will be treated. If they're anything less than friends I won't read it.

I hesitate to make a Pepper/Clint request on the kinkmeme because of all the caveats I'd have.

Omg this. I like Tony/Pepper in the movies, but I like shipping Tony with other people in fic. If Tony cheats on Pepper maliciously (one night stands where he confesses afterward I'll take, but I don't like where he hides his cheating or continues to cheat while character bashing her) or purposely is an asshole to her or talks shit about her, I won't continue read that fic. Either find a way to make them break up without bashing Pepper, or write a canon diverse where they never started dating.
