Wait, people hate that episode? Why do people hate it? I completely agree with you, I thought it was really good. I thought it was one of the better "seeing Dean and Sam from an outside perspective" episodes, a lot subtler than most of those end up being, and the guest performance was good, and the end wasn't a shocking twist or anything but it was pretty satisfying. Why on earth would someone hate it? I am legit mystified.

I wasn't deep in fandom at the time, but I remember thinking it was the ep that sold me the show for the time being, and then when I went to check on lj I remember finding a lot of 'I'm disappoint' posts in there... because it was a filler or something?

I thought it was probably the fact that it was too incest-free or something for the average shipper... I liked it though.
