...except the Jewish diaspora didn't spread BY CHOICE into other regions. Throughout great swathes of history, the Catholics basically held a pogrom every other year or so because they had a hate-on for the Pharisees...of which Constantine & Co misinterpreted to be the entire group of people. Because...IDK, because Constantine saw a sundoggod or smth and decided it was a ~vision~ and something something Catholic church something something Nicea.

So the Jews had even more incentive to not marry out; to retain their cultural and genetic heritage, and thanks to the charming Catholic tactic of blood libel, no one outside of their group wanted to marry in, either.

I'm agreeing with you, anon, in case that wasn't too clear.
