I still fondly remember when Hussie said he felt that Problem Sleuth was probably too long when it had only gone on for a year. Good times.

There's a pretty large contingent of people who would agree with you (I think it's mostly people who read it while it was ongoing or at least before Homestuck was a Big Thing) so you're hardly alone.

I feel like I like Problem Sleuth somewhat better, but then I wonder if that's because when I read it it was already a complete whole story, while Homestuck still doesn't have the whole-complete property for me to be able to get some perspective on how I like it. With PS I felt like "I don't quite understand what's happening but I understand that it makes sense within the logic of the story" whereas with Homestuck I'm just like, well, anything could be happening, I've got no idea.

I suppose Homestuck having more fandom-friendly elements helped it gain the popularity it has, but I think I'll always be a little fonder of PS.

Aww, I remember Problem Sleuth! I read it when it was going on. I liked it a lot, but I could never get into Homestuck.
