I am utterly in love with Karen's outfit and hair in this pic.

Haven't heard him talk about her, but wouldn't be surprised. It seems to happen with co-stars.

I'm pretty sure they have partners, but I would be thrilled if they got together.

The way Matt talks about Karen is very cute. I'm glad they've made an effort to still hang out after she left Who - the only other Doctor and Companion I have really seen make the same effort is McCoy and Sophie Aldred (but they are adorable in a completely different way).

It's just precious. He's like a super-proud big brother who wants everyone to know how awesome his little sister is, but isn't going to stop his goofy older brother teasing any time soon.

I bet that they are friends, but if you'll notice, a lot of co-stars in shows like this geek out about how their other co-stars are wonderful, adorable, etc. Do you know why they do this in public? Because we're watching. And the fans want it. That's pretty much why this kind of thing happens.

Otherwise, they'd probably just treat each other like normal co-workers treat each other.
