I know Dramatical Murder is getting an anime, but that's not until summer. People are flipping out about it.

It will either be a great adaption or a shitty one. At least you always have the original source to turn to. Fandom might get congested with newbies, but they can bring art and fic with them, which is nice (the drama not so nice, but that's what things like xkit is for). Fandom grows and quiets sooner than you expect, so enjoy what it brings while you can.

But since there's a chance it'll cut out all the gay and sex, I'll probably just be getting hurt. Murdered. dramatically murdered.

Yeah, there's a good chance they'll pull a Togainu no Chi and cut out the parts that fans want the most. I hope not as that's what pulls fans to the game in the first place... but higher ups are stupid.

I keep hearing abut Togainu no chi but I don't play it, can someone tell me how bad the adaption was?
I am excited about Dramatical Murder, but wouldn't hold my breath. In my experience adaptions are 80% shitty

I have never read the manga or seen the anime, so I don't know. Sorry anon. I just know all the sex was cut out and people weren't happy, obviously.

Not exactly. It's not a nukige, meaning sex isn't the point of the game, it's just a bonus. It's got a decent enough plot that could carry an anime adaptation without the sex. If it didn't have any sort of plot that could be adapted then it probably would have gotten a porny OVA.
