I saw How to Train Your Dragon, loved it, discovered it was based on some books, looked up the books... was extremely unimpressed. I got too attached to big badass non-talking Toothless, I guess.

I read three or four of them, because it's supposed to get better/more plotty and interesting as it progresses, but it just didn't hold my interest for very long. Oh well.
