I agree, I think Wybie was a really smart decision on the writer's part, Coraline really needed someone to talk to in order to keep the pace of the movie going. Coraline is a case where I like both the book and the movie and I really don't have any issues with the changes made for the movie.

Yeah, and he wasn't a love interest either, which I also liked!
