If it's used in speech and has rising intonation e.g. is used as a question it totally needs a question mark. Punctuation conveys meaning. Like, there is a significant difference in tone in the following examples:

1. "Guess what?" Sarah said. "I just got my test results back!"

2. "Guess what," Sarah said. "I just got my test results back."

Another example of question mark use:

1. "I just don't trust him at all."
"Yeah." Sarah replied.

2. "I just don't trust him at all."
"Yeah?" Sarah replied.

Question marks are super important. Don't fuck around with them!
