He didn't know that Pete was going to appear... and he's the Doctor. He fixes things, so his instinct would always be to do what would be best... and to watch his 'love' fall to her death with no hope of rescue without moving a muscle? I don't think so. Idk, don't get me wrong, I like Ten/Rose as much as the next fandom idiot, I just think that it's interesting that he didn't actually do anything to try and save her.

I know, I'm just thinking plot-wise.

Heck, it IS all about things working plot-wise. If he had gone after her, he would've saved her, which means Billie would still be on the show.

It's all just TPTB, really. ::shrugs:: If she wasn't leaving, they wouldn't have had her get almost suck in, right? No point, except for maybe TEH SUSPENSE!1!!1

That's right, he does fix things.

The thing is, he knew letting go wouldn't save Rose, it would just take him out of the universe too, and that? Would be bad for the universe.
