honestly, if there's one character i'd call the fashion police on, it's him. idk who's in charge of his wardrobe, but it looks like they're having a blast (that or they're drinking on the job).

A while ago, I saw that CBS' site was selling copies of his scarf. It seemed odd because as much as I like Elementary, JLM Holmes isn't the one who can be recognised by his scarf.

This fashion trend baffles me to no end (Hiddleston's got it going on in the pictures to do with Crimson Peak). Strained buttons like that make you look fat, like you outgrew your clothes and were too lazy or broke to replace them.

I thought Elementary!Sherlock was supposed to look kind of dorky, like his clothes are never quite right, so even when he's not wearing a waistcoat with a garish plaid shirt, the waistcoat still isn't petfect.

I'd unconsciously headcannoned it as a nod to weight gain after rehab that Sherlock hadn't yet adjusted for. A co-worker of mine went through a similar period after she got clean.
