That's why it's called faith. Sure, it could be that there is no god and no purpose for why things happen, and that Earth is just one of an unfathomable amount of other planets moving through an unfathomable amount of space, and that your god is among thousands humans have created over the years. Whichever.

No, what you're arguing is Pascal's Wager. Which, all in all, is a very weak argument, IMO. (And I'm a believer. Not Pascal's biggest fan tho.)
