So... you're actually opposed to the conversation? You're opposed to considering the possibility that people have thought about this and been able to at least come to answers that they consider compelling?

I gotta say, that's not a position that makes sense to me. Although I guess if it's an emotional thing, that's the way it is sometimes.

Yeah, it's more of an emotional thing. In principle, I am by no means averse to discussing the matter, and I do find such discussions useful. But every time I try to participate, I just end up having a horrible black mood.
