I don't think this is as unusual as you might think, OP. A lot of Japanese bands have some really awesome shows running, but the music might not be for everyone. That said, I think Tokio has a pretty wide variety of styles in their songs -- switching up the singer once in a blue moon, as well -- so I'd like to think you should be able to find at least one song you enjoy!
