Uh. Parents can't just PUT their kids in prison. Being an "attention whore" is not a crime. And don't listen to or encourage that suicide anon. I think you could also benefit from therapy, or some confidence boosting activity like yoga.

No, they can't, unless they caught me committing some sort of crime. Which they have. And trust me, the therapy thing? Nooooot as awesome as it sounds. They all want you to stop being addicted to drugs, for one thing. :/

Gee that does sound awful.

I know, right? (Look, I know I'm an asshole, that's the POINT. Sometimes people are just bad people.)

But I'm going to stop before I hijack the thread completely. So yeah.

So you like being an asshole and a bad person, then? If you can recognize it yet do nothing to change it, you must like it.

More often than not, people who are afraid of rejection will behave badly in order to feel like they are controlling the rejection - a self-fulfilling prophecy. We all have the same fears and self-doubt, but we need to let our actions define us, not our fears - it's called 'growing up'.

Not being addicted to drugs is a good thing.

And just because it didn't/doesn't work for you doesn't mean you should discourage someone else to do it because it could be literally life-saving.

And it might not be a hopeless cause for you either. I bounced around among like four therapists before finding one I really trust and who really helps me.

Oh, I didn't mean to tell anyone ELSE not to go to therapy. Just that after more therapists than I can actually remember, I personally gave up on it. I know it helps people tons. I actively encourage other people to seek therapy if they are having problems. Sorry it came across as "advice" when it was actually just personal experience that only applies to me.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying.
