I usually watch LPs for that kind of games in a series that I don't have a console of/isn't able to buy because of monetary reason. As with the OP, I'm the kind of guy who priorities the story over the gameplay (just by a slight margin, althought the lack of story is also one of the reason why I'll never finish EO and Nocturne...).

And the other LPs that I watch is of...horror games. I can't fucking play anything horror yet I'm ATTRACTED to it. Playing it give me goosebumps and I even playing one of the SH games my friend lent me makes me jumpy 5 minutes walking on a foggy road with literally NOTHING in it. I don't want to make a commitment and I'm all up for a fling so LP it is. tbh watching other people play it and get scared to death lessens the horror for me. (Yeaa yeaaa I'm chicken. I don't know why. I like hearing horror stories... Before sleeping with the lamps on for two straight days, huh)
